EA published the Cipher patch notes on November 2, ahead of Season 31’s November 3 launch. One major change is Legend Bans in Diamond-tier matches and above: each player can vote for a Legend to be removed from selection for that match. EA also says entry costs will adjust when squad skill levels differ significantly from the lobby median. Strongholds arrive as mid-match objectives; capturing one opens the structure and rewards the team. The notes also cover character adjustments, map fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
