Counter-Strike 2 Update Changes Rush Timers and Crosshair Settings
Valve’s September 23 update extends the post-elimination timer in selected Rush areas, shortens several lobby waiting periods and clarifies crosshair measurement units.
Valve’s September 23 Counter-Strike 2 update increases the maximum countdown after elimination from seven to fourteen seconds in end rooms and Convoy, with exceptions for rounds where an entire team is eliminated by suicides, team kills or disconnects. It also reduces warmup, freeze-time and technical-timeout duration after all players connect, while introducing clarification for the updated crosshair system’s pixel-based thickness, length and gap values. The Steam announcement includes additional map adjustments.
