Minecraft Java 26.3 Pre-release 2 Revises UI and Technical Behavior
Mojang’s second 26.3 pre-release changes UI rendering and technical data-pack behavior while continuing the update’s bug-fix phase.
Mojang published Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 Pre-release 2 on September 4, 2026. The source notes an interface-rendering change and technical adjustments to the data-pack format and number providers, alongside further fixes before the Wilderness Bound release. As a pre-release build, these details describe the test version at that time and should not be confused with current game behavior or the final release notes. The official changelog contains the full technical entries.
