Minecraft Java 26.3 Release Candidate 1 Begins Final Testing
Mojang’s first 26.3 release candidate began final testing for Wilderness Bound with a focused set of technical and gameplay bug fixes.
Mojang published Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 Release Candidate 1 on September 10, 2026, marking the start of the release-candidate phase for the Wilderness Bound game drop. The changelog lists bug fixes and technical adjustments intended to stabilize the build before release. A release candidate is still a pre-release build, and its contents can be changed if critical issues are discovered. The official Minecraft Feedback article provides the full list of fixes.
